Richard John (Rick):
We are sad to announce the passing of Rick on Thursday, September 30, 2002 at Nelson Tasman Hospice, aged 66. Much loved husband to Anne. Loved father to Alice, Ellen, Sam and Sophie and father-in-law to Ted. Loved 'Grandad Ricky' to Sophia and Jack. Loved brother to Jane and Vicki. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff for the care Rick received from the Nelson Tasman Hospice, Nelson Hospital, Air Ambulance crew and the Tahunanui Pharmacy and Medical Centre. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Nelson Tasman Hospice or Air Ambulance would be appreciated. A Memorial service to celebrate Rick's life will be held at Nelson Yacht Club, 322 Wakefield Quay, Nelson on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 2.00pm.

Anne and family, so sad to hear of Rick's passing. Remember him fondly and enjoyed his company at Kath & Richard Morgan's place when he was in Wellington, as well as a number of walks the boys did locally. Regards, Andy Wells
