Rachael DUFF Obituary

Our brave and beautiful warrior princess Rach passed away on June 22, 2025. She tried so hard for over 20 years to fight her battle with anorexia. Thankfully her end game was how she wanted it peaceful, painless and surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Dearly treasured daughter of Lesley and Don Hamilton and much loved sister of Cam. A special thanks to her GP Debbie Harrison, her Mental Health Team and the wonderful people at hospice for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Tasman Nelson Hospice or South Island Eating Disorder Service. We will be remembering Rach on July 12, 2025 at 2.00pm. Venue TBA.

Rach, we knew eachother such a short time but you really were my soul sister. Our million voice chats and videos daily, understanding eachother.

Leslie, Don & Cam our deepest heartfelt sympathies and love to you all. I only knew Rachel through Sam, so I know what a beautiful special girl she was and what a hard battle she fought.
