Phyllis Elizabeth:
Peacefully at Buller Hospital on February 25, 2017. Aged 99 years. Loved wife of the late Mac. A much loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews and extended family. The friends of Phyllis are respectfully informed that her funeral service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, Trafalgar Square Nelson, on Friday, March 3, 2017, commencing at 1.30pm.

I enjoyed Phyllis's company and sense of humour as members of the Greenhill Orchestra many years ago. She always had a smile on her face. A long life, well lived. My sympathies to her family.

A wonderful woman. Mrs Swinburn had a huge impact on my life when growing up in Mt Pleasant Avenue, Nelson. She always had an open home, albeit full of spoilt cats!
