Sorry to read of you loss Mary.
Phil was my instructor for my introductory flights in a hellicopter at Nelson airport. I was in my 20's then and nearly 61yrs now. They are amongst my best memories of how patient he was with my uncordinated flying skills. It certainly developed a love of flying rotary wing.
