With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Peter, who left us peacefully in his 90th year after a brief illness. Peter was a much loved brother to Janet, the late Brian, and the late Derek, and families, and a cherished uncle to Johnny, Steven, Erica, Michael, Andrew, the late Edwin, Katrina, and Shona. Peter will also be remembered fondly as a dear friend to Jimmy. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Nelson Hospital and Oakwoods Retirement Village for their exceptional care and compassion during this time. Your kindness has meant so much to us all. A private graveside service was held by close family and friends, and Peter has now been laid to rest at Wakapuaka Cemetery in Nelson.
