14.4.1931 - 7.4.2023
Loved husband of Margaret. Loved father and father-in-law of Carmel and Roger, Mark and Margaret, Teresa and Stephen, Paul and Catalina. Loved brother of Roos, Nellie, Henk, Truus, and the late Tony, Joe and Will. Loved grandad of Ben, Liam, Hamish, Melissa, Layton, Gemma, Danielle, Trent, Brook, Cameron, Lareiahna and Jonty. Great-Grandad of Ryder, Lucas, Parker and Max. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church, Songer St, Stoke, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, commencing at 11.00am. Flowers respectfully declined, Donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made at the service or on line at www.stjohn.org.nz/support-us/donate/

Peter (Mr Doorman) was our Suburbs soccer coach for a lot of years when we were young. Have some great memories of those times. A pretty neat guy.

My deepest sympathy to you Margaret and whanau. Honestly, I only learnt afterwards, that Peter had past. Not sure if any of his factory staff knew either. I certainly would have attended the service. I will pop into see you Margaret once things have settled for you. (May God Bless you and your whanau.) Lord Hear our pray.
