Peter BLACKMORE Obituary

BLACKMORE,
Peter Raymond:
On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, died peacefully at Nelson Hospital. Treasured soulmate and husband of Jan and son-in-law of Dot. Cherished dad of Mikailah and Dan (Australia), and granddad of Freya, Salem, Maja and Emily. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Diane (Christchurch) and the late Rob, Wendy and Tim (Nelson), and Ian and Jocelyn (Nelson). Fun-loving uncle and friend to all the family. Thanks for the special care from the wonderful staff in the COVID ward at Nelson Hospital, all staff who have cared for Pete over the years and Hospice nurses. Also grateful thanks to Pete's heart donor family and staff involved in his transplant and ongoing care at Auckland DHB and Hearty Towers. At Pete's request, a private cremation has been held. In Pete's memory donations may be made to NZ Heart Foundation or Nelson Tasman Hospice.

Your enthusiasm, dedication and hard work on behalf on Community Patrols NZ will always be remembered and appreciated Pete.
Of particular note, your sterling efforts around the many transport issues during the National Training Seminar held in Nelson.
RIP my friend and condolences to Jan.
