Please accept my condolences. I Knew Pat (and Arthur) because of their community involvement during my Edendale years. I consider them amongst the top people who influenced me in life.

Growing up I walked past your parents home in Edendale on my way to and from school each day.
I was lucky enough to see the Blade of Grass when it was at their place.
When I started school at Menzies,on occasion Mrs Wilson would see me dawdling up the road and pick me up and drop me at the bus stop.
Mrs Wilson was my art teacher at Menzies and I think she must have despaired over my feeble attempts as I was no artist.
I also recall a Lactose Factory Christmas Party where she had made a large pinata for all the children ,none of us had ever seen anything like it before.
I will remember her with fondness.
Deepest Regards

Thanks so much for your reply. I took the liberty of sharing your Mum's obituary on the local Facebook page called Edendale Wyndham and surrounding districts, and there are tributes and memories added into the comments on there. If you wish to read them, you are most welcome to join the page. I hope you don't mind my doing that.
