EDWARDS, Patricia Dorothy:
Our darling mum left us on May 8, 2018. Patricia was an exquisite seamstress, creative clothing designer, avid book reader, lover of arthouse movies, adventurous traveller, bread baker extraordinaire, superb cook, lover of bohemia cafés, well known for her clothing stall at the Nelson market and friend to many. She had a passion for life and an energy which was unmatched by her frail body. Most of all she was loved dearly by her children, Louise, Sandy, Gareth, Bryce and Pauline. She was a much loved and special friend to their partners Malcolm, Jeff, Juleen and Sarah. Her grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Henry and Maddie, Theo, Seb and Annalise, Bruno and Victor adored and treasured their Granny. Her ex-husband and friend Keith will miss her too. Her close and dear friends and wide extended family now face a big gap in their lives. Like a good wine, she improved with age. There will be a private family cremation. We will celebrate her life with her friends on Saturday, May 12, at Morrison Street Cafe from 6.00pm.
