Noeline GEARRY Obituary

Of Motueka, passed away peacefully on her terms with family on Monday, May 12, 2025, aged 96 years. Loved wife of the late John Gearry. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Kevin and Julian, Brent and Joanne, Hamish and Rebecca. Treasured Grandmother to Clayton, Trentan and Aaron, Grant, Renee and Kent and Troy. Great-grandmother to Alex, Ava, Taylor, Dane, Maddison, Zoe, Sol, and (Tia), and Rome, Thomas, Nolan and Aila. All messages may be addressed to: The Gearry family, 4 Constance Place, Aidanfield, Christchurch or email [email protected]. The Funeral for Noeline will be held at the Motueka Funeral Home, 8 Inglis St, Motueka, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, commencing at 11.00am. Her interment will follow at Motueka Cemetery.

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Noeline. We were so glad we had been in contact with her a few times during our last visit to New Zealand. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family circle .

So Sorry to hear of Noeline´s passing. Noeline was a legend in Bill and Marama Stevens packhouse for many years - our treasured `smoko lady´. Cups of tea and scones enjoyed by all. Always ready for a laugh. Rest easy Noeline. You will be missed. Much love to the family.
