Neil CAPSTICK Obituary

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Nelson Tasman Hospice, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 2.35am. Beloved husband of Sue. Adored father of Paul and Elena, David and Sarah, Marc and Lynne. Cherished "Super Da" to Rosa, Marco, Zoe, Sam, Sophie, Louie, Finn, and Lily. Much-loved brother to Brian (deceased), John and Grazyna, and uncle to Teresa, and Rob. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Nelson Tasman Hospice, with special gratitude to Dr. Ed Johnson and Dr. Anna Wojtacha. A celebration of Neil's life will be held at Saxton Oval cricket pavilion on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11.00am, with burial to follow. An "After Match" gathering to be held at the Nelson Suburbs Football Clubrooms at Saxton Field from 3.00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Nelson Tasman Hospice

To Sue and Family from your neighbour @ 55 Atawhai Drive many moons ago. So sorry to hear about Neil, having just caught up after many years at recent NAC function. I have just been through 6 months off treatment for cancer so no the pressures it puts on you and the kids. Take care Sue, thoughts and prayers with you. Cheers Ross Manson
