I have good memories of Mr Beveridge being a teacher of mine at Nayland College, along with Mr Kennedy! Both being very forward thinkers for that time in the '70s. Thank you for being a positive influence for me back then....and thank you both Mr B and Mr K for the Everyman music store! RIP Mike (Mr) Beveridge

If my memory serves me right, Mr Beveridge was a teacher of mine at Nayland College back in the mid seventies, as was Mr Kennedy!
Both brilliant teachers, well ahead of their colleagues in forward thinking for the time. And then there was The Everyman music store! Just brilliant, and remembered fondly. Thank you Mr Beveridge, Mike, for your contribution to my education. Remembered with fondness and gratitude....and your music store rocked! RIP

Sincere condolences to Yvonne and family. Dad (Osman) & mum (Jessie) were saddened to hear of Mike's passing. They treasure the memories of singing at your nuptials in Whangamata.
Sing with the angels Mike and may you rest in peace xx

My Mum, Elaine Beveridge was Mikes cousin. Mum passed away many years ago now, and she was over joyed when Mike came to Nelson to live. Our condolences are with you all at this time.

If I were asked to name a single person whose life increased mine through his friendship, joy of life, generosity, and robust intellect, it would have to be Mike. In the words of John Donne, his death has diminished us all. Vale, old friend, We are not far behind you.

Mike was a significant member of the Nelson community in the early days at Everyman records and playing rugby for Nelson Bays. We remember him fondly for his warm and positive presence in the Nelson community and in our lives. Condolences to the Beveridge family at this sad time our thoughts are with you.
