Michael Owen:
Passed away after a short illness, at Nelson Hospital, on November 6, 2016, aged 85. Dearly loved husband of the late Dawn, loved father and father in-law of Maureen and Mark, Eileen and Russel, Michael and Juanita, Kathleen and Sam, Paul and Vicki, Patrick, and the late John, loved grandfather of Ann, Jason; Andrew, Nicola, Karl; Alana, Daniel; Joshua, Tara, Ruby; Timothy, Jackson, MillieRose; Redmond; Larissa, and Grace, and loved great-grandfather of Josiah, Luke, Alexiz; Aiden, Connor, Max, Arie; Ella, Leon, Aio; Darren, Violet; Samuel, and Connor. A Service to Celebrate Michael's life will be held at Marsden House Funeral Home, 41 Nile Street, Nelson, on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 1.00pm.

To my cousins and their families, thinking of you at this incredibly sad time. I have fond memories of your dad, my Uncle Michael, of whom I didn't see enough of, but the times I did meet up with him, I really enjoyed his company and sense of humour. I am so sorry that I was not able to attend the celebration of his life with you and your families but were thinking of you all.

Mike , you were an amazing man, age was not a barrier to you and you learnt to dance all the dances that we did. you were a delight and a most generous man with your seedlings plants vege's etc. You will be sadly missed by all the Line dancers. RIP Mike.
