I am sorry to have only just heard the news. Sending condolences from my family in the UK to Ashley, the Wagg family and Maureen's family in South Africa. My mother Morag and Maureen met at school back in Sunderland; their friendship lasted almost 70 years even though they were at opposite sides of the world for such a large part of that time. So sad to lose them both this year. May they Rest in Peace.

In Loving Memory of Maureen Wagg
It was with profound sadness that I learned of Maureen's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences.
I had the great privilege of working with Maureen from 1983 as the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Sports Association for the Physically Handicapped. I witnessed first-hand her extraordinary leadership, passion, and insight. She was the guiding force who built a young, small NGO into the well-respected national sports organization it is today. Her unwavering belief and relentless efforts created opportunities for countless disabled sportsmen and sportswomen, from mass participation to sports excellence.
On a personal level, I will always treasure her mentorship, her availability to help, and her unwavering support in times of difficulty.
Maureen's legacy is immense and enduring. She will be deeply missed, but so fondly remembered for her monumental contributions to the disabled sports community in Hong Kong.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Martin Lam (Former Executive Director, HK
