On Sunday, March 22, 2026, peacefully in Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, aged 71 years. Much loved ex-wife of the late Jeff King, loved mother and mother-in-law of Brydie, and Alexander and Mark, adored nana of Natalia and Elsie, her bright hopes for the future. Dearly missed sister of Jenny Bartlett, Gary Anderton and Noel Anderton. Messages may be addressed to the family of Maureen King, c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Rd, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. A funeral service to celebrate Maureen's life will be held at Hope Chapel, 27 Amyes Rd, Hornby, on Wednesday, April 1, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
