Mary HAMBROOK Obituary
12 January 1940 – 30 July 2025
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Beloved wife of Les, cherished mother of Sarah, Joe and Tom and their partners Catherine, Tui and Susi, and adored grandmother of Kate, Jess and Heidi. Much loved daughter of the late Laurie and Myra Riordan of Uruwhenua. Cherished sister of Rex, the late Royce, Peter, Barry, Claude, the late Mick, Donald, Judy, Stuart, Kelvin, Cathy, Bill and Jeff. Respected Midwife to many in the Bay. We would like to thank the GBCH for their dedication and compassionate care that they provided to Mary, becoming a much loved second family to her over the past five years. A funeral service will be held at the Takaka Rec Centre on Wednesday, August 6 at 1:30pm. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation to Parkinson's NZ https://www.parkinsons.org.nz/donate

Remembering Mary with love and gratitude as friend and colleague also flatmate. Mary was an outstanding Nurse and Midwife, a strong advocate for those for whom she cared. a loving Mum and delight to know. Remembered always. love and sympathy to Les and all the Family. Rest in Peace Mary.
