From Southland and more recently Nelson, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, aged 75 years. Mary was the much loved wife of Peter for almost 55 years; mother of Warren Ford, and Melanie Mardle (nee Ford); mother-in-law of Richard Mardle, and adored grandmother of Florence, and Liberty Mardle. Mary will also be sorely missed by her and Peter's families including, Jean and Alex McMurdo, the late Warren McLaughlan, Karen Voice, and Gordon Dickson, Wayne and Colleen McLaughlan, Helen and Kenny Searancke, John and Angie McLaughlan, Trish and Rob O'Brien, the late Tony Ford, Stephanie and Pat Swann, Moire and Roy Vincent, Mary Gorrie, and Paul Ford. A private cremation has been held and a celebration of Mary's life will be held at a future date.

So very sorry Peter and family to here of Marys passing. Many years have passed since we have been in touch except on facebook. But the treasured memories of teenage years and weddings and children are always with me. Frances sent me a message this morning to let me know. And im thinking of you and your loss Peter. So sorry to see Mary has passed away.
Peter you and Mary were my first neighbours in Selwyn St. I have fond memories of Mary showing me how to make Fudge. Warren & Melanie growing up fast, then my girls coming along. I still live there.
