(nee Hocking):
Of Murchison. Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017, aged 98 years, at Summerset Village, Nelson. Loving wife of the late Pete; Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Allan and Dot of Murchison, Colleen (Wiz) and Neil Hayton of Nelson, Kerry and Marita of Christchurch; big sister of Clenda Bartlett of Reefton. Very special Nana Molly to her 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Molly and family are extremely grateful to her caregivers Heather and Margaret, and also family members Allan and Jenny who enabled her to remain in her own home until her last two weeks. Thank you to the staff of Murchison Hospital and Summerset Rest Home for their loving care. A private family celebration was held Tuesday, August 1, at Gardens of Remembrance, and an interment of her ashes will be held in Murchison at a later date.
