Maria LAGRUTTA Obituary
Maria (Liberata):
On October 10, 2018, at Alexandra Hospital. Loved wife of Giuseppe (Joe), and cherished mum and mother-in-law of Maria and Paul Elenio, Rosanna and the late Craig Martin, Michael and Debbie Lagrutta, Francis Lagrutta and Victoria Fisher. Much loved nonna (grandmother) of Peter, Teresa, Jessica, Abigail, Sofia, Sam, Giovanna, Giuseppe and Matthew. A special person who loved and was loved by all. In lieu of flowers donations for the work of the Colombian Missionary Society would be gratefully appreciated and can be left at the church. The Lagrutta family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff of Alexandra Hospital for their wonderful care of Maria and their support for the family. Requiem Mass will be celebrated to mark Maria's life and passing at St Mary's Catholic Church, Manuka Street, Nelson, at 1.30pm on Monday, October 15, followed by interment at Marsden Cemetery, Stoke. The Rosary will be prayed at St Mary's at 7.00pm on Sunday, October 14.

RIP Maria. My visit to Nelson with my husband Shane, son Shannon, and daughter Meghan had Maria invite us back for a home-cooked feast. My family still are in awe of that feast!
