Marc STEYN Obituary
Aged only 57, passed peacefully on April 29, 2020, after fighting his cancer right to the end. Loving husband to Susa, father and father-in-law to Tessa, Max, Meg, Peter and Ana, and beloved Opa of Josef, Lily, Pia and Jimmy.
He will be sorely missed.
Marc's family would like to thank the Nelson Tasman Hospice for all their care and support and in lieu of flowers, the family welcome donations to the Nelson Tasman Hospice which can be made at www.nelsonhospice.org.nz/donate. A private cremation has been held and a celebration of Marc's life will take place at a later date as circumstances allow. Dear Susa, I had no idea that your love story had come to this. Your journey together was an example to all of us. You were a special couple and I feel privileged to have seen your love evolve through sheer belief in each other. I'm so sorry to hear about Marc's death. I remember him as a lovely man with deep empathy for others and as a good and caring friend. I remember Marc and I had a lot of fun one year in and around Mapua, 30 odd years ago and I miss his smiling face and humour now more than ever. Much love to his family from Rory, Jane, Felix and Isla.
