It is with much sadness we read of Maarteins passing.
He was a very special man always had time to talk,
He was so proud of all his family .

To Anna and family, so sorry to hear about your Dads passing, he had a long fruitful life. Last time I saw him was in Hospital after coming off his bike! My thoughts and prays are with you all at this sad time.

Ted, Marguerite an Anna. Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Great memories of him when you lived out 'country'. Had a chat to him a couple of years ago while out cycling on the trail before Brightwater. Still energetic as always.

Maarten was a really dedicated member of Richmond Rotary always to the fore when it came to working bees. He was particularly of great assistance when organizing the Club's annual Wine and Food Festivals at Brightwater. He will be remembered particularly for his long term loyalty and dedication. One could always rely on Maarten. My very sincere sympathy to the family for their great loss.
