Luigina DEL FAVERO Obituary

Peacefully on February 20, 2025; aged 88. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Phil and Jo, Paul, John and Lisa, Simon and Bee Wong. Loved wife of the late Neri. Much loved Nonna of Misha, David, Janae, Kayli, Heidi, Peter, Caleb, Symon, Xavi, Marcus, Dominic and Angelina. Bisnonna to 5. Many thanks to the staff of The Wood, and Nelson Hospice. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Marys Catholic Church, Manuka St, Nelson, on February 26, at 11.00am. A Rosary will be held in the church at 7.00pm on Tuesday, February 25.

Served on the Nelson Night Shelter many years alongside Luigina. She was a humble and kind person who saw the best in everyone. Rest in Peace Luigina.

To all Luiginas family we offer our loving sympathy and our prayers for you all. We cannot b'e sad for Luigina who was a truly inspirational woman whom Tom and I loved so very very much .She saw Christ in each person she encountered .A friend who has left an everlasting impression on my life .Luigina is deeply loved by all who came in contact with her .Now we know Luigina is in heaven with Neri her parents all her many relatives and above all receiving the reward Loving Creator has for her whom she loved and served so faithfully while on this earth .You are already deeply missed Luigina but i thank God for our wonderful lfriendship
