Lloyd KENNEDY Obituary

1949 - 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our amazing man after a long and brave battle with cancer. Husband and soulmate of Val, dearly loved father of Dan, Megan and Mike. Cherished father-in-law of Nina, Sherman and Edisha, and adored Pop to his grandchildren Quinn, Cole, Ezra, Isla and Elle.

Always positive, caring, warm and respectful of all who crossed his path, he leaves a huge legacy and very big shoes to fill.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 8 at 1.30pm at Headingly Centre, 2 Headingly Lane, Richmond. Lloyd's service can be viewed via livestream https://vimeo.com/event/4692163

It's with great fondness I remember working with Lloyd at TDC. A supportive, respectful and caring mentor. He leaves a wonderful legacy with all that he achieved in Tasman.
How privileged I was to be part of his team.
My heart felt sympathies go out to Val and his whanau.
I will be thinking of you at this time and for sure there will be some trees planted in his memory here in Ireland and back when I am home.

One of the nicest men I ever worked with. His contribution to the Tasman parks network was outstanding.
