Service Woman 75341, RNZAF. Passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of the late George. Much loved mother of Rere and Donna, Hika and Sue, Hamuera and Keni. Loved nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of Lillian's life will be held at The Shone & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson, on Monday, March 9, 2015, at 11.00am. To my Dear sister Ninny , I can't believe that you are no longer alive on this earth.You were so courageous in every adversity you faced from polio to death and everything in between.When I was a little girl you lit up my life and now one of my siblings is gone someone I loved very dearly.I want the world to know what a wonderful person you were talented, courageous , humble a wonderful mother and wife .A sister that never forgot me know matter what ,if I can walk in your shoes I will be proud. Thank you for the beautiful birthday card that you made ,your sons gave it to me after you died it was the undoing of me , you thought of everything. I have to say that I believe your casket spray was unbelievable every flower and leaf you made out of icing yourself I believe it would make the Ginness book of records it was amazing just like you I hope I can post it on Facebook if I know how. I could write on and on about you see you when it is my time. Your loving sister Bub's

Rest in peace Lillian. I only met you a few times, but I know my Lovely friend Kath, your youngest sister will be sad. My condolences to all of the family.
