Fond memories of Les back in the good old days in the 70's at Lake Rotoiti, an area he loved & cherished. Les was also active in the Rotoiti Power Boat Club early on, being their Secretary for many years & racing his own little hydroplane Talley Ho-which for a while held a NZ record. He once told me his most memorable racing boat ride, was a ride in Tru Jen doing over 100 mph on the lake- a reward given for his years of service to the RPBC.
