Leslie BARNES Obituary
Passed away December 14, 2023, at Ontario, Canada. Aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Tina Marie. Father and father-in-law of Kim Clendenan (Doug), Brent Barnes. Stepfather to Heather Roberts and Andy Roberts (Tina). Brother to Mary Bier (Jack) and David (late Shirley). Brother-in-law to Linda Land (George), Marlene Grant, Pat Boraski and Sam Boraski (Teresa). Grampa to Emma, Christopher, Samantha, Brandon, Nolan, Parker and Madelaine. Survived by many nieces and nephews in New Zealand and Ontario.
We will miss his energy, laughter, and passion for fun, good ideas, travel and spontaneity.
Cremation has taken place in Ontario, Canada. Repatriation and Celebration of Life to follow in Nelson, New Zealand. Messages to [email protected]

To Mary & Jack, and David....remembering the years way back, before Linda & Les left for Toronto. Your summery of Les's personality are just how I remember him too, from one who was in their bridal party. He will certainly be missed. My condolences and kind regards to you all, Elise.
