MADIGAN, Leo Hugh:
Dear brother of Mark (deceased) and half brother of David. Much loved cousin of Christine. Passed away, aged 75, at the Lar Santa Beatriz da Silva in Fatima, Portugal, on July 25, 2015, in the company of family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Burial took place following a Requiem Mass on July 27, 2015, in Fatima Parish Cemetery. Family contact: [email protected]

It was Leo that gave me the opportunity to sail.
It was the best thing that could of happened to me at that time.
It would be impossible to quantify the value of his actions.
I know that years later it made me a better father to my daughter,Rosie.
And looking back I realise he knew what he was doing.
He knew the value of seeing the world.
For nearly forty years he's always been there.
I'll miss him.
