We are so sorry to hear of Ken's passing and will miss seeing him on his little scooter and visiting him just down the road. Ken was always so positive and such an interesting man. He was our Mother/Mother-in-law's best friend for so many years (Bev Friend) and was part of our family for many years. We send you our best regards and hope that he died peacefully. Kind regards,

Thoughts are with you all. Many great memories of our time as neighbours in George Street with you all as part of the local group of kids. And many later times with Ken, Waimea Intermediate, tomato houses in Hope, and many more connections with him. Such a kind heart. RIP Ken.
