Keith EDWARDS Obituary

Our much-loved Dad died peacefully on September 2, 2025. A man of many passions, he was an obsessive amateur photographer and adventurous traveller. He played rugby for Nelson Bays and was a lifelong rugby fanatic. He worked many years in the dairy industry and had an impact on this sector both nationally and internationally. We know he touched many other people's lives in Nelson and the wider world. He will be very much missed by his children and their partners (Louise and Malcolm, Sandy and Jeff, Gareth and Juleen, Bryce and Emma, and Pauline and Trevor), and his grandchildren (Grace, Jack, Henry, Maddie, Theo (late), Seb, Annalise, Bruno and Victor). Any messages to [email protected].

My Dad employed Keith to work at the Waimea Dairy Company alongside Peter Malone. The family lived near us in Locking Street and I helped the move to their new home in Annesbrook. Kept in touch with Keith in the latter years and saw him a few weeks ago in the retirement village. RIP Keith.

Condolences to Keith´s family I First met Keith in the 1970´s with getting milk samples for brucellosis testing at Waimea Coop Dairy Brightwater. He always had time to have quick chat. I last caught up with him at DIG photography group. I´m sure he left the family many great images and memories.
