Karin JORDAN Obituary
JORDAN, Karin Joena:
Much loved daughter of John and the late Erina and treasured sister of Bevan and Reece. Karin passed away peacefully on February 27, 2018, at Nelson Hospice, surrounded by friends and family holding her hands as she gracefully slipped away. Karin will forever be remembered by us all as the Life of the party and a Cracker of a Soul. She was a person who always leaves one feeling great about life. It is not a time to cry, but a time to Celebrate that Karin's wish to be with her beloved Mother Erina, has now been granted. We wish Karin the very best in her new life, in her new Universe. A Celebration of KJJ'S Life 'the plan 4 ya' Saturday & Sunday. A Private Ceremony at 1.00pm, on Saturday, March 3, will be held at Karin's Dad, John's home. This will be followed by a Public Celebration of Karin's Life, to be held at 2.00pm, in the Lovely Garden at 28 Seymour Avenue. Karin's Casket will be open so that those who wish to hold her hand or brush her hair can do so in the company of friends and family. We will have Karin with us for about two and a half hours, to have our last bit of fun with her mortality present. I'm sure that she'll be looking over us with her Mum Erina, cheering us all on to have a magical time in the spirit that they would have done. There will be time for guests to share their memories of and experiences with Karin through the years gone by. At the completion of the public Celebration, Karin will be transported away to be cremated, and made ready for her next journey to Blenheim on Sunday. This will conclude the Public Ceremony. Everyone is welcome to remain in the Gardens to reminisce and enjoy each other's company. There will be drinks and food available. Byo Food + Drinks will be gracefully accepted. Thank you. On Sunday we will carry Karen's Ashes over to Blenheim Omaka Cemetery, where she wished to be placed alongside her Nana Bess, Grandad Bill, dear mother Erina and her special aunty Elizabeth. For those who wish to join Karin for her final Journey from our mortality, please come and take part in "An Awesome day, to shed a Tear and say Hurray." The internment Ceremony will be followed by an awesome get together at a local Winery, to reminisce, over days gone by. Remember to always love one another and express that love often. Life is just a collection of a finite number of days. If your life is full of joyous days, spent helping and loving those around you, then the magic of contentment and fulfilment will be yours always.
Enjoy the Wild Ride
