Passed away peacefully to be with her Lord, March 25, 2021, aged 89 years, at Wellington Hospital. Loving wife to the late Colin Smith (1931-2017), and cherished wife to the late John Saunders (1919-2017) for the past 37 years. Loved and devoted Mother of Christopher Smith, Susan and Robert Shade, Graham and Debbie Smith. Dearly loved stepmother to John and Kate Saunders (Melbourne), Ross and Jocelyn Saunders (Hamilton), the late Euan (1947-2008) and Jan Saunders (New Plymouth). Beloved and treasured grandmother to 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family wish to acknowledge the love and care extended to June by the Otaki Anglican Church ladies, the Otaki, St John; and the Wellington hospital staff. A memorial service is to be held Saturday April 10, 2021, 10.30am at All Saints Anglican Church, 47 Te Rauparaha Street, Otaki. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Otaki, St John would be appreciated and may be left at the memorial service. Messages to the family, 25 Knights Grove, Otaki.
