My sister, Margaret Sherwood and I Gwyneth Watson are so sorry to read of John's death. We were friends and neighbours of the Westbrook family for many years in Wakefield and Muriel and Molly were firm friends. Condolences to you all at this sad time.

Dear Uncle John. You will be missed. Thank you for serving your country. One of my highlights recently was the phone conversation you had as a Gunner to my son your great nephew another Gunner. You were always so kind and generous. Wish I could be there to honour your life and service. Much love Ting

Really sad to see John has gone. He was a nice boy and a good man. I have always honoured my classmates who went to Vietnam, that was tough. Best wishes to all the Westbrook family from Sandra, and the rest of North family.
