Passed away peacefully at Summerset In The Sun, Stoke on May 12, 2024, aged 82. Dearly loved partner to Margaret Palermo, and husband to the late Kathleen. Loved father to Andrea, David and Stuart and a much loved grandad and great-grandad. Messages c/- 61/188 Songer Street, Stoke, Nelson 7011. According to John's wishes, a private cremation has been held. A small gathering of family and friends will be held at Nelson Golf Club, Bolt Road, Tahunanui on Friday, June 7, 1.00pm till 3.00pm.

Sorry to hear this news. I have been trying to get in touch with JR for some years as we had great times together while we both taught at Christchurch Polytechnic and both very involved in the Union. Great guy. And also sorry to hear about Kay. All the best from Lloyd and other ASTE mates
