PORTIS, John Edward:
Died peacefully at Nelson Tasman Hospice, on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Husband of Wendy; father and father-in-law to Jamie and Donna (Melbourne), and Melanie and Symon (Nelson); cherished grandfather to Isla and Madelyn. Only son of the late Sid and Alice (Airedale); brother of the late Jennifer Gibson (formerly of Ikawai), and Ruth Thompson (Mosgiel). A family farewell was held on Tuesday, October 29.
