John HOULT Obituary

It's only been a month Dad and the tears still come freely at times. I thought of you constantly yesterday on Fathers Day & had a nice chat with Mum last night. Thank you for everything you ever did for me, and for being a great father-in-law to Lynne. I miss you and your cheeky grin and witty jokes. I hope you are resting easy in Heaven with Gran & Grandad. Will love you always Dad, our very own Guardian Angel! Your loving daughter, Sue.

For a Dear Grandad
So blessed to have had you with me in this life for 31 years - a kind, happy and loving Grandfather who has left me with fond memories and precious photographs from childhood through to adulthood.
I'm sorry I couldn't be there with our family for the celebration of your life and final send-off but I kept you in my thoughts, held you in my heart and took you with me in spirit on my travels.
You appeared in my dream the other morning, you looked at me and smiled for a few seconds before fading out, you are and always will be so very missed.
We are such a strong and bonded family because of you and Nana.

Granddad, you are such an amazing man. No were about it as you are still here in my heart. I will never forget the way you always made me smile and always made awesome stuff for me as a kid like the rocking horse/high chair and the little white oven. You always knew how to make me laugh like when you wiggled your detures at me. Ill always love you granddad. You were the best granddad i could have ever wish for and ill treasure every memory. Dear Dad....hard to believe that it is 2 weeks already since we lost you. I'll never forget the phone call that changed my life forever, or the flight where I hoped no-one would speak to me for fear of breaking down in front of them. I'm back at work now dad & I laugh & joke with everyone like I always do but the sadness still rests heavy in my heart as I'm sure it will for a long time. The 1st link in our family chain has been broken but we're trying to go on without you. Not an hour goes by when I don't think of you or talk to you in my head, and I hope you can hear me, because I am telling you I love you & I miss you. RIP Dad. Love you forever! ...By the way....mum got the all clear from the cardiologist which is great so you're gonna have to wait a while longer to see her. We plan on keeping her round for a few years yet

I could never explain how sad we are to have lost you from our lives, but I am glad to have plenty of happy memories while you were still here. Well what can I say. Uncle John has always been a part of my life. Have no real distinct memories of our younger years, but have enjoyed my time with him in the last few years. Chatting about places we had both been to in Europe, family & so forth. Always had an intelligent comment & that lovely twinkle in his eye. Uncle John was a great friend to my Dad for which I am thankful. Great friends, brothers-in-law & workmates. As well as being there for Mum, esp. after Dad died. Will miss him being around. Thoughts are with you all.

Not a day goes by without you in our thoughts, forever in our hearts also.

The friends of John are respectfully informed that his funeral service will be held at the Brightwater Hall, Lord Rutherford Road, Brightwater on MONDAY, August 5, 2013 commencing at 1.00pm. His interment will follow at St Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Wakefield.
