HAWTHORNE,
John David:
Passed away suddenly at his home in Mapua on August 31, 2017. Beloved husband of Susan and dearly loved dad of Luke and Cherie. Loved friend of Rhyll (mother of Luke and Cherie). Loved father-in-law of Michelle, Greg and Dennis. Loved stepdad of Pip and Jackie, brother of Brian and brother-in-law to Jo. Beloved Grandfather (Boog) of Matthew, Bradley, Becky, Fraser, Chloe and Max. Sadly missed not only by his loving family, but also by his many close friends.
"A hunter home from
the hill."
The funeral for John will be held at the Moutere Hills Community Centre, at 1.00pm on Tuesday, September 5, all welcome. In lieu of flowers donations to the Motueka Pistol Club for a memorial trophy in John's name can be made at the service.

Sorry to here of the loss of John , can remember the times when Eddie and John would be up to no good at Rai Valley, they are probally up to no good again some were up there now.Was lucky enough to catch up with John 4 weeks ago for a good chat. RIP
