John FOULDS Obituary

Fond memories of John at Nelson Marina and on the early Wearable Arts Shows. John was not only a a talented rigger. He was a gentle, kind, warm and generous man all round and will be missed by many. Condolences to Faye and family. RIP John

I was saddened to see the passing of Nelson's 'wire rope guru'. A friend and workmate for many years and someone who we'll discuss for many years to come when talking about John's favourite subject.My condolences to Fay and family.

To Faye and family our deepest sympathies for the loss of my old boss but more importantly a great friend. I have very fond memories with working with John splicing wires he had a lot of patience putting up with kid that left school and everything had to be done 100 miles an hour and id do it the hard way and John would sit me down and say Tony you are fighting the wire do it this way. I think i gave both John and Faye a few headaches. Our hearts go out to you all from Tony phillipson and family

Gail & I first met John & Faye, David and Jason around 1981. We all ended up in the most amazing close knit neighborhood up the brook on Seymour Ave. Wow, you just couldn't ask for more. Memories too numerous to mention. Very family, social, creative, sharing and above all loving.
So privileged to be a part of and share some life with John, some of the best memories of my life. Forever in our hearts.
