John BOWEN Obituary

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Nelson Tasman Hospice. Much loved husband of Donna, loved and respected Dad of Karissa and Cameron; Jason; Simon and Aleisha. Poppa G of Austin, Bella and Ryder, and best mate of Mr Ziggy. Dear brother of Allan (dec), Sue and Mario (dec), Elizabeth (dec), Chris and Jacquie. The family wish to thank the staff of the Oncology Department and Chemotherapy Unit at Nelson Hospital, and the Nelson Tasman Hospice for their care of John. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nelson Tasman Hospice would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.

Johnny was a great team member of the Sealord maintenance crew, we got together six months ago and I think we rebuilt every machine in the factory , Johnny you were great the stories that came out sent us into laughter, not heard before in any cafe .
RIP my dear friend you made us laugh so much we had tears rolling down our faces . Peace my good friend . IAN and mates .
