Dearest Joan, what a wonderful friend you have been to so many.
We, at our Thursday morning group at St. Pauls are going to miss you terribly along with so many others.

I am so glad that you came into my life and I will cherish all my memories of times we have shared and the laughs we have had over the last few years forever.

I worked in the Medical Unit with Joan for many years, and I have strong memories of her as a reliable and responsible nurse who used a great deal of common sense to bring comfort and care to the bedside. As colleagues we were required t navigate huge changes to the scope of practice for nurses, and Joan managed this with dignity and humour. My condolences to you all.
