Dearest Codgey, my Codgey poo, jam on toast on the deck with you, Annies singing in the kitchen but we've got better places driving lessons, down the hill and up again, always known i'd be home with you and nany again, you gave me my rebellious spirit from a young age, but I was always safe, and I wish I could've taken better care of you and nany in your old age, there's a lot of things people didn't see, but I saw them and I see through your eyes and I hope I make you proud in this life time be as generous and life boating. Sorry, have only just sadly found out about Codger. I grew up at Grossis Point next door to Codger's parent's home. Codger was a regular visitor to see my grandparents. From my childhood through to early adulthood I remember Codger as a kindly man of great mana, and a patient listener who chose his words carefully. He always made time for someone, and I will never forget his positive impact on my life. Rest in peace, and see you in Heaven.

So sad to hear this news. Codger and Annie were such a generous couple to us when we moved onto the property at Mahana, helping us settle in and being surrogate grandparents to our kids when they were young. Many happy memories of spending time with them out on the veranda, drinking cups of tea and having a laugh. Codge was one of life's true gentlemen - our sincere condolences to his family.
