Died suddenly at Nelson Hospital on January 2, 2023 – aged 77 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Lyne. A much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. According to Janice's wishes a private service has been held.

Janice was such a loving and kind person. I knew her as a student back in the 90s. We often bumped into each other and shared wonderful fun memories of her time spent at the polytechnic. She helped lots of women during her time studying by listening, being kind, and sharing her knowledge. RIP Janice. It was lovely knowing you.
