83 years young. After a short illness. Dearly beloved husband of Lesley for 42 years. Loved brother of Sandra, Judith, and Debbie. Much loved uncle and cherished friend to many. An icon of the Helicopter Industry of New Zealand. A highly respected Aviator worldwide. A memorial service and celebration of Jim's life will be held at Annesbrook Church, 40 Saxton Rd, Annesbrook, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, commencing at 2.00pm. Special thanks to Nelson Tasman Hospice for their loving care shown to Jim. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nelson Tasman Hospice would be appreciated. I remember Jim well,my late young brother Weasle Chapman shot from his chopper for quite a period,bet they are up there having good old yarns of the pass.RIP Jim.
