James LEGGAT Obituary
James Francis Russell:
Passed away peacefully at Winara Rest Home, Waikanae, on January 16, 2018. Dearly loved husband of Audrey (deceased), father and father-in-law of Gill and Shane, Jocelyn and Richard, and Grandad of Rachel. Brother and brother-in-law of Ian and Monica, Graeme and Rose. Uncle trouble to his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to everyone at Winara Rest Home, Waikanae, for their care of Russell. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Brain Research NZ, Private Bag 92019, Auckland 1142. A service for Russell will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Cedarwood, 17-21 Parata Street, Waikanae, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

I was overseas at the time and have only just learned of Russell's passing. He was a gentleman of Taranaki Cricket (and a life member of TCA). I will never forget the pleasure I had playing cricket with him when I was in my twenties and he was in his sixties! Rest in peace.
