James Ashley (Jim):
Passed away surrounded by his loving family, on May 23, 2017. Dearly loved husband of Pam, father and father-in-law of Sue and Steve, Pam and Mike, Sharon and Pete, Toni and Paul, and Dean. Dearly loved grandad (Dancey) of Hayden, Leigh and Amelia, Taylor and Mitchell, Sam and Bree, Sarah, Ben and Steph, Mathew, Alesia and Craig, Sarah and Simon, Josh, Casey and Brendan, and great-grandad Jim of Billy, Ruby, Parker, Jaxson, Luca, Natalie and Ollie. Many thanks to the staff at Anthony Wilding for their special care. Messages may be addressed to the Family of the late James Dawson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Special Care Unit at Anthony Wilding would be appreciated and can be made at the service. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Saturday, May 27, at 10.00am.

The Harrowfield family remember Jim with great fondness for his friendship, loyalty and sense of fun. A great colleague for Laurie and support through many years of a special friendship and family connection. A great man who deserves to rest in peace. His legacy lives on in his family.
