To Bel's family. I am so sad to hear that she has passed away.
She was a good friend and we have kept in touch over the years since we left Ngawhatu.
My thoughts go out to you all because your Mother was such a lovely person and I know how much she will be missed.

Hi to Pete, Sonya & Brad - so sorry to hear about Belle. I have lovely memories of her humor and sharp wit pretending to be strict to Pete and I as young lads. But she always knew what time it was and that was part of her brilliance. A warm and generous person just like her son Pete. Thinking of you guys and especially my buddy Pete. I will see you soon my man. love, Simon

My condolences to Bel's family. I remember her fondly from my work days at Ngawhatu- especially all the wonderful baking she used to share on the night shift.
She was a wonderful person, with so many stories of her early nursing days. It was a privilege to know her.

June and Rex and family. Thomas.

Bel was a special lady who helped the Nelson Branch of Save The Children on many occasions, rostering her members and working on our raffle stalls over several years. Always smiling and so obliging. Sincere sympathy to all family members from our Branch Committee.
