Gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Ila passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, July 13, 2024, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Carole and Kelvin Clarke, and Helen Nicholson. Treasured Nana of Rachel; Joshua, Daniel, Christopher, Elizabeth, and Jonathan. Loved Sister of the late Jack, the late Myra, Natalie, the late Valerie, Margaret, the late Esther, Faith, and the late David. Loved by all her extended family. A service to celebrate the life of Ila will be held at the Elim Christian Centre Nelson, 625 Main Road Stoke, Nelson at 11am on Saturday 20th July. Ila's family wish to sincerely thank all those who have supported and cared for Ila over this time.

We knew Ila from our time at Stoke Elim Church when it was in the old building on main road Stoke.
She was a beautiful faithful Saint of God and whenever we saw her she always had a ready welcoming smile and hug. She will be missed on this earth, but memories of her will live on in our hearts. She'll be dancing with Jesus now!
Due to sickness we were sorry to have missed her funeral. We pray all God's love, comfort and peace over the family & friends who mourn her but also rejoice at her very full life.
