I have fond memories of doing harrier training runs after school from Tahunanui to Ranui Motors at Stoke where my dad Trevor worked. I think Henry owned the business with Malcolm Giblin. Don Roberts also used to work there before he started Nelson Brake Services with Russ Brockie.
Mum & Dad were close friends back in the day. Sad to see all these people from my childhood passing on. My sincerest condolences from across the ditch.
