Helen WELLS Obituary

On Sunday, February 8, 2026, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Waiau, in her 84th year. Loved wife of the late Graeme for 60 years. Loved mother of John, Jim, Hugh, and Julie. Loved mother-in-law of Brenda, and Suzy. Loved Nana to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Helen's life will be held in the Waiau Hall, Cheviot Street, Waiau on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 2.00pm.

Hi Wells Family, So sorry to see the passing of Helen, only just seen it online.
Helen was my Mother's, Lilian Priest nee Penney, and Aunty Kathleen Penney's cousin.

Helen was a great member of the bowling club and I throughly enjoyed her company. Unfortunately I can´t get to the funeral tomorrow owing to prior commitments. Ian and Barbara Pettigrew.
