Helen LYON Obituary

LYON, Helen Jean:
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Marlborough, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Aged 68 years. Dearly loved wife of Merv, cherished mother of Clinton, adored grandmother of Theo. Loved sister of Mike, Sue (deceased), Judy and Gina; sister-in-law of Yvonne and Graham. A special thanks to the staff of St John, Wairau Hospital and Hospice Marlborough. Messages may be sent to 25A Rata Place, Witherlea, Blenheim 7201. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St John would be appreciated and may be made online to a/c 12-3167-0165142-00 Ref. LYON. In accordance with Helen's wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

So sorry to read of Helen´s Passing. We had a lot of good memories and laughs from years gone with Tapawera Round Table outings. Rest peacefully Helen.

So sorry and sad to hear of Helens passing. We had a lot of fun when Helen and Merv ran Astons.
I fondly remember making the mistake of referring to Helen as the barmaid. I never made that mistake again.
