Hector Arthur (Dusty):
Passed away surrounded by his family at Jack Inglis Friendship Hospital on Saturday, June 18, 2022; aged 90 years. Cherished and much respected husband of Elizabeth. Father of Alister (dec), Jane, and Julia. Loved grandfather of Frederick, Imogen, Alice, and Lewis. Dusty will be missed by all his family and friends both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. A special thanks to the staff at Jack Inglis Friendship Hospital. A service to celebrate Dusty's life will be held at Marsden House Funeral Home, 41 Nile Street East, Nelson, on Tuesday, June 21, at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. Special memories of the amazing times up in the hills. Your work doing restorations and investigations will be remembered by many. I bet you and Maurie will be talking and laughing like you did up the Nevis. As well, your part in Riverdale Arts will always be recognised. Well done too, being part of some great adventures in the back blocks with others of all ages. You have given many memories to many people. All the best to your family too...they will miss you.
